To preserve quality behavioral health services in ten SWPA Counties

Purpose
Staunton Farm Foundation recognizes the importance of organizations building capacity to maintain optimal services. Capacity building refers to developing and strengthening resources in organizations and communities to survive and adapt to today’s environment. The Foundation supports grants of up to $25,000 for capacity building.

Use of funds
Grants may be used to contract for technical assistance for training, evaluation. and planning; for tracking, integrating, and reporting software; and for expenses necessarv to achieve the goal s of the proposal The Staunton Farm Foundation will outline the terms of grants with successful grantees.

The Foundation welcomes your ideas and provides these only as examples of projects that might meet the intent of this Capacity Building grants program:

  • Supporting collaborations, shared services, and mergers
  • Preparing and submitting applications for accreditation
  • Exploring alternate funding opportunities or leveraging resources
  • Implementing electronic health records
  • Technical assistance for integrating behavioral health and physical health
  •  Training providers on evaluation methods and ways to share outcomes and information

Timeframe
12-month grants to start by September 2024 (awarded in late June)

Eligible Applicants
Non-profit organizations, governments, and faith-based organizations in the following counties: Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Fayette, Greene, Indiana, Lawrence, Washington, and Westmoreland. Organizations with an active grant from SFF or anticipating applying for a grant through the Foundation’s traditional application process may still apply for this opportunity.

Grant Funding
Maximum of $25,000 per request.
