Grantmaking is at the heart of Staunton Farm Foundation’s work.

We invest in organizations, services, partnerships, and community solutions that improve behavioral health and substance use disorder outcomes in the following counties: Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Fayette, Greene, Indiana, Lawrence, Washington, and Westmoreland.

Our grantmaking is guided by three strategic priorities:

Strengthening the Behavioral Health Workforce

Supporting strategies that help develop, attract, and retain the behavioral health workforce and improve access to quality services.

""

Advancing Purposeful Innovation

Supporting organizations willing to test new ideas, learn from the results, and adapt their approach as they go. Innovation may include improving an existing practice, testing a new model, using technology differently, building new partnerships, or exploring new ways to deliver services.

Responsive Grantmaking

Responsive grantmaking brings people together. When challenges extend beyond a single organization, we can convene providers, funders, counties, payors, and other partners to better understand the issue, identify shared priorities, and explore coordinated solutions.

Through these investments, we seek to strengthen organizations, encourage new approaches, build collaboration, and help create lasting improvements in behavioral health services and systems.
